Wanako's Next: Arkadian Warriors [Update]
Wanako Studios, the largest Latin American video game development house (and now owned by Vivendi/Sierra Online), is churning out a new game called Arkadian Warriors. Details are a bit thin, but based on Wanako's pedigree (Assault Heroes, 3D Ultra Minigolf) it's fairly safe to assume that this is headed for XBLA.
The announcement came out of Leipzig with the following blurb and feature description:
Define your legacy... Awaken your inner-beast... Fight with one of Arkadian' three powerful warriors to the ultimate confrontation with Gorgon herself. Spanning treacherous dungeons consisting of countless enemies, heinous and powerful bosses, your warriors will embark on a trek of unimaginable proportions.

[Update]: Ross Erickson has confirmed with us that this game is indeed headed for XBLA.
[Update2]: We unfortunately had the incorrect name of the title, it's now fixed.
As you can see, the look of the game is consistent with an XBLA title as well. A good-looking XBLA title, but XBLA nonetheless. Interestingly, the game is listed as a Q4 2007 release. If that's true, it's amazing how well Wanako and Sierra have kept the secret. If this game plays out like Altered Beast/Diablo fusion with tactical button mashing instead of clicking, then sign me up!

This looks pretty cool. Having only 2 player co-op instead of 3 in kind of disappointing, though.

Not having 3 player co-op...that's a good point.
Then again, considering the struggles just getting 2 player co-op to work in Assault Heroes, we shouldn't expect too much. (It seems to work fine now though...)
This looks like something I might very well end up buying. I'm a big fan of roguelikes, and this seems to have some roguelike elements like random dungeons.

I am insterested in this one for sure. I play R@gue on my phone, and Dungeon Runners or Fate on my PC (tired of Diablo and Dungeon Siege at this point).
