A couple of weeks ago THQ released a press release mentioning their four upcoming titles. Of the four titles we knew about Screwjumper! and heard mention of the upcoming SponeBob game, but Elements of Destruction and Rocket Riot were new announcements. Unfortunately very little other details were given about these titles with the exception of Screwjumper!
Well lucky for us, that changes now.
THQ has been nice enough to send us some info and screenshots about the three new titles:
Elements of Destruction:
Developed By: Frozen Codebase
You are a force of nature. Move and manipulate Mother Nature to your design. The world is yours to control and destroy using forces of nature of your choosing. Each scenario offers unique locations, challenges and goals that cause the player to use the forces of nature in different ways.
Features:
•Start with lightening, tornadoes, and earthquakes and increase your power until you have mastered all of Mother Nature’s forces.
•Blow buildings apart, start raging fires and damaging lightning as you cause mayhem in towns, cities, and the countryside!
•Multiplayer modes include Cooperative, Competitive Destruction in both Online and Split-screen.
SpongeBob SquarePants Underpants Slam!
Developed By: Blitz Games
SpongeBob SquarePants Underpants Slam! is a fast-paced, side-on multiplayer slapstick collect-‘em-up set at the bottom of the sea. A Royal Laundry shipment of Neptune, Lord of the Sea's underpants has been spread across the sea bottom by an incredibly powerful storm current! Neptune has called upon the commonfish to collect his lost undergarments and fix this ‘delicate’ situation. He’s offered a bounteous reward to the sea creature who collects the most bloomers!
Features:
•Search the Krusty Krab, the Flying Dutchman’s ship and the depths of the *new* Treasure Room of Atlantis for the bronze, silver and gold pairs medallions.
•Engage in single player Quest Mode, where collecting 99 pairs of underpants wins the game, or begin the hunt in Time Trial Mode, where beating the clock means everything.
•Take on up to 3 players in Xbox Live or single couch multiplayer Slam Mode, or try to avoid being “it” at Bikini Bottom in Tag Mode.
•It’s every sea creature (and mammal) for him- or herself! Use your character’s slapstick moves to knock down and slow your opponents.
•Gain special powers from pick-ups that allow you to move at super speed, become invincible or even steal pants from other players in their excitement to gain Neptune's favor!
•Beware of the Jellyfish! – They collect underpants too and don’t give them up easily. Keep clear of them when they’re “electrified” or you’ll be stunned and stupefied!
•Break out your super-duper Super-Moves – Each character can unleash their unique Super-Moves to keep even the fiercest opponents at bay and also reveal hidden treasures.
Rocket Riot
Developed By: Codeglue
Rocket Riot is an action-packed side-view shooter featuring a bazooka-wielding jetpack soldier. With a highly stylized 8-bit era feel, players blast their way through the environment against enemies or multiplayer foes online. Navigating through a completely destructible environment, players can uncover special power ups or even burrow into different areas of the map.
Features:
•Engage in 80 single player missions, set in many different themes and zany worlds.
•A fully featured multiplayer Riot with 4 multiplayer modes against up to 8 players on Xbox Live or up to 4 players on a single screen. Teamed based CTF has never been so explosive!
•Fly through continuously regenerating maps that keep the action fast-paced—but time doesn’t heal all wounds.
ScrewJumper!
Developed By: Frozen Codebase
Take The Plunge! Freefall into the depths of the chaotic underworld as a Screwjumper. Drive the aliens back to their home world by destroying their precious mining equipment. Demolish structures on freefall as you increase your destructive power by increasing your velocity. Use dynamite to pick off hazards and high value targets. The mine shaft is yours to plunder. Destroy the mine core and jetpack out alive. Dead Screwjumpers don’t get paid!
Features:
•Descend and destroy 20 mines on 4 planets with 6 characters.
•Compete with your friends via split screen and Xbox Live multiplayer.
•Chain your destruction by plunging through objects at ultra terminal speeds.
•Risk your neck in four single player modes: Destruction, Race, Time Trial and Score.

I am so sold on Elements of Destruction and Rocket Roit. Still on the fence about ScrewJumper, though.
And Spongebob...lol.

sorry double
Elements of Destruction looks interesting but I don't understand the point. Are you trying destroy mankind and reclaim Earth in the name of nature? Or what?
