Almost two years ago, we brought you rumors the indie darling Introversion would be bringing their hit Darwinia to our beloved service. Well it may have taken it's time, but if the ESRB is to be believed, the rumors were right. While being rated by the board doesn't mean that we will be playing the game anytime soon, it's certainly a step in the right direction.
You can expect that the entry will be taken down pretty soon though as tends to be the case with unannounced titles that make it to the ESRB web site.
You almost start to feel sorry for the PR folks...Almost.
[UPDATE] Seems that introversion has finally admitted that the game is real, and will be coming out this fall. Not only that, but it will include both Darwinia and Multiwinia: Survival of the Flattest, can't wait

Uh comment went poof, so if this double posts then sorry.
Darwinia is a great game and if you haven't played it on the PC then I highly recommend it.
Multiwinia (multiplayer sequel to Darwinia) is on the horizon for the PC, but unfortunately I don't believe it could be released under the current XBLA limits which is sad considering how perfect it owuld be as an XBLA release.
Maybe Defcon is headed to XBLA soon though.

It wouldn't be Introversion, if I recall correctly, they contracted with a third-party developer to do the console conversions.
Still, they could put any price they wanted on that game, and I'd shell out the MS points for it. Darwinia rocks.

I think xbla titles should be shown off more at GDC and E3 so we don't have to go on rumours ands the ESRB. they could At least tell us if they're considering making a certain game.

Wow, it's finally coming out. Didn't they start talking about an XBLA version a few years ago?
