Those that have been playing Band of Bugs since this weekend already know this, but a title update went out this past Friday, July 20th.

The game was plagued by a couple nasty bugs when it was released that likely brought down a lot of review scores. Luckily for all, NinjaBee has now pushed out a update, around a month later. So, if you've been holding off on the game because you feared the bugs (the ones that did not belong in the game, that is) then have no fear. Go get it! And hey, you can even get some free DLC once you have gotten it.

• Here's a quick partial list which I think covers all issues discussed in the forums and fixed in the July 2007 title update. For no explicable reason, it turns out all the fixes have names. Yay!
  
  * "Mr. Popularity":
  Fixed crash viewing leaderboards if you have 50 friends or more.
  
  * "The Black Widow":
  Fixed a few seemingly random crashes, particularly in Spider Hunter
  
  * "What the Hell Just Happened To My Turn?":
  Turn timers sometimes got cut short. Also, Spider Hunter turns are now a bit longer.
  
  * "Iduno's Map":
  Fixed crash when saving a user-created map from someone far away. This fix is *extra* effective if the people playing speak the same language but with different accents.
  
  * "Starting Over":
  Fixed crash loading certain saved files (Maal's Story missions 16, 17, etc.)
  
  * "Impossible Times":
  Fixed save games to remember time, eliminating the time exploit for high level scores.
  
  * "Hey, That Guy Should Be At The Bottom!"
  We don't allow negative scores, now.
  
  * "Look away! Look away!"
  Fixed a minor graphical ugliness when a unit had a lot of status icons
  
  There were various other fixes a lot more obscure and hard to explain.
  
  Also, certain leaderboards (but not all) were reset.
  
  Note that the Maal's Story summary Leaderboard is still hosed, but the individual Maal's Story level leaderboards are fixed.
