Maybe we can hope that one of these days we can get some DLC for the original game. That wouldn't bother me at all. IGN was showing off the new enemies in Galaxies, as well as the player 2 ship, and it all looks like it would be really cool to add. It would also basically more-than-double everything available in the current GW.

I don't see this as a problem, in fact I think it's kind of cool. I've always liked stuff like this (the arcade machines in Shenmue, the Arcomage card game in Might & Magic VI (or VII, can't quite remember)...), and it's always more fun if the game in question is actually something you can't play anywhere else.
