Almost six months ago was our last post about Butterfly Garden; however, it seems that the fine podcasters over at Gamertag Radio have done a very nice interview that has been taped over some gameplay footage of the game (see below).
but so far it looks like a re-release of Viva Pinata. Which I did finally buy last month and after about 3 hours with it, it didn't hold me. Its just a constant game of 'two of your pinatas are kicking each other's butts' and you barely have time to do anything OTHER than deal with dying pinatas.
Butterfly Garden looks like it doesn't offer anything new, but perhaps they're saving that information for later.
I had that same issue, but then I realized that the key isn't to have everything in your garden at once. It's to have pinatas that work well together and help you progress. If there are two types of pinatas that don't play nice I usually kill of the type that I'm currently not using. Plus after you've played it for awhile you really get into specific micro goals and ignore other things. It's really good you should stick with it.

I would compare it more to a laid back flight sim combined with some action elements than Viva Pinata.
There is nothing to connect the two in gameplay from the information released so far.
