Most Difficult XBLA Achievements

Most Difficult XBLA Achievements
In your experience, what are the most difficult XBLA achievements you've come across? I just recently got Astropop, and beating 32 levels in a single playthrough without using your SUPA weapon... well, that's just crazy as far as I'm concerned. Zuma had some really tough ones too if I recall, though I'm pretty bad at that game anyway. Oh, Mutant Storm Reloaded... all 89 levels on black belt in a single game... wow. Let's not forget Metal Slug 3: beat the entire game without continuing. So, what are some difficult ones you've attempted, or at least know about? And if you've earned some of those elusive achievements, feel free to brag about it since you've obviously earned the right. :)

well, in my experience, all of my XBLA games have hard acheivments, exept frogger, 4 of them are easy.
yeah there are hard
yeah there are hard achievements in a lot of XBLA games, but for me, level 100 on Robotron would be #1
how long did that take you ?

maybe I misunderstood the subject, I haven't achieved Level 100, I can't get past about lvl 22 or so...
Aegis Wing- "Ace"185,000

Aegis Wing- "Ace"185,000 points. At first it was hard, now i can get about 193K in a game easily.

Double Dragon- Not getting hit by the wall things in the start of the last level. I happened to get very lucky one day though...

Streets of Rage 2- 800,000 points in hardcore mode. Very challenging, and fun!

Wow, I still can't get the 185k Aegis achievement. Do you play on normal or insane? Any "tricks" to getting a higher score?

The majority of it has to do with the weapons system. If you use them wisely, then you should do well. I found that the homing missles were the best, and i only used them when there were so many enemies on screen that i couldnt get them all at once. But even if you do miss a few, thats ok. Theres always the next wave of enemies to attack. So dont waste em. And the bubble shield is also effective as well, since it repels bullets back, which in turn provides you with more shooting power so-to-speak. Everything else I would just use up immediatley.

The Long-Necked Long March
The Long-Necked Long March achievement in Space Giraffe has to be one of the hardest I've come across. "Finish level 100, having started on level 1." I've never tried to go for it though, but that's one of those achievements that both take long time to complete and is extremely difficulty to pull off.
to mention a recent game:
to mention a recent game: Chain Monster from Poker Smash

"Score a 24x chain in Action Mode, Timed Mode or Custom Playlist Mode"
Yeah the Chain Monster is

Yeah the Chain Monster is one that I doubt I'll ever be able to pull off!!!

Metal Slug 3

Well, I'm not sure about the other game's achievements, but the Metal Slug 3 achievement you get by beating the game without dying....well that one will come easily with repetition. I didn't purchase the XBLA game, but I've played the anthology on PS2 and I beat that game left and right so I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult to get that achievement.

I think the Twin Multiplier achievement on Mutant Storm Empire is tricky, as well. Hard enough trying to get your own multiplier to 10x, but now you gotta find a partner who's good enough to get it there, too?!

Tempest

I nominate "Turmoil" from Tempest:

Reach the random waves Evolved game - Normal difficulty

That is downright impossible - it's only been done by a tester with a cheat code, as confirmed by the developers themselves.
