General Achievement Question

Can you earn achievements for XBLA games you don't own? For example, if I have a friend come over and he downloads his gamtertag to my 360 to do local co-op, can he earn achievements?


Sorry in advance if this is common knowledge, but most of my friends aren't gamers so I've yet to test this. I assume it would work, but you never know.

Yes you can. I've gotten some of my friends easy an quick achievements in XBLA games they don't own when they've come over here and used their GTs
