They need to release a Rez expansion :-P

i always wondered why this game felt so unfinished. Now we know why. It not only DIDNT WORK when they published it, but they held back part of it so that they could sell you the other parts later.
This is why people hate XBLArcade (not the domain - the service): because its turning into this kind of nonsense. Take the original sale price of Poker stars, add these two expansions, and theres how much this piece of glorified java just cost you.
oh sure, you can just opt to NOT buy the expansions - in that regard, you bought yourself a feature-heavy demo of the game.

I don't know, if you were talking about Lumines, then I would definately agree, but with Pokersmash I felt there was definately enough of a game there to warrent a purchase.
On the other hand the locking up bug is inexcusible and should never have been released like that.
I guess it's just a case of different strokes for different folks.

Game breaking bugs are becoming common place in this current generation and so is selling content which should have been in the original title. (Not specifically talking about any game with that.)
The amount of money I am willing spend on any 360 game is decreasing since more and more often buying a retail copy is only half the game. I just shy away from some games that sound fun due to consistent reports of gamebreaking issues.
The DLC issue is that a lot of companies see it as a way to cash in and not as a way to add on. There is a definate difference between supporting a game and selling a game through micro-transactions. DLC is a great concept, but if it continues on the current trend then I wonder if it will hurt the game industry in the long run.

DLC is great in some games because it keeps the experience fresh (ex.: map packs for CoD 4 / Halo 3, new tables for Pinball FX, the Catan and Carcassonne DLC Packs), but the problem is that the majority of games developers/publishers sees DLC as a mean to make some quick bucks, releasing packs that add no real value at all.
Unfortunately, with the success that microtransactions are enjoying in the Asian market, DLC has come to stay.
