XBLA or Full Retail Games

I was just browsing my gamercard and realised I have not put a game disc in my 360 for over a month. It's been exclusively arcade titles (Texas Holdem, Geo Wars, Mutant Storm, MBU, Clonging Clyde). I know it's been the summer and there's been a lack of full retail titles, but arcade has made the 360 worth the purchase. Between now and the New Year, there are 3 full retail games I'll be looking for (Forza Motorsport 2, Gears of War & Crackdown), whereas there are near 10 arcade games I'm really hyped for (Mutant Storm Empires, Small Arms, Roboblitz, HoopWorld, Lumines etc. etc..). Guess the question is, what are you most anticipating over the next couple of months. XBLA or full retail?

Small Arms is my most anticipated game right now, and Mutant Storm, Lumines and Mad Tracks all look great too. For retail games Mass Effect is on t he top of y list right now, and Gears of War looks like it'll be pretty sweet too, but they are so far off, and once they come out, they last a week, or a month maybe, then people get bored and no one plays online. XBLA games last for much longer and are cheaper so the value is great. I do love the experience of a great retail game though, for example, I just played God of War for PS2 and that game was just amazing, but I beat it in a weekend and it's over. But the experiences last long after that. Speaking of PS2, I can't wait for Guitar Hero 2.

Yeah. XBLA games can provide great value. I still regularly play MBU, Geo Wars and Mutant Storm. Since launch, there have only been 2 full retail games where I felt I got good value (Call of Duty 2 and Project Gotham Racing 3).
