Small Arms is now live

Gastronaught Studio's "SSB with guns" game has finally seen the light of day. For 800 points, you can now download Small Arms which searching around shows is going to quickly become one of the best rated titles for the service so far.

On the achievement side, has anyone here played against the Gastronaught team and received the "Six degrees of Small Arms" Achievement yet?

I've only played

I've only played single-player so far, and am kind of surprised at how hard the control scheme is to get used to.

At first glance, move with one stick, shoot with the other, it's pretty simple, overly-done XBLA stuff. But you add in the gravity and the jumping, and it's really a different animal.

I'm guessing the best players at the game will be the ones who can continue to land shots on target as they perform aerial acrobatics.

I'll try some live play tonight, and return and report.

I've also gotten the sense
I've also gotten the sense that the top players will be the ones who master the control scheme. It strikes me as a game that is deceptively deep, guess only time will tell.

i think its just a button masher where you steal kills, i'm a little disappointed, but GREAT graphics.

I played through the
I played through the mission-mode once, then tried multiplayer and already unlocked the Six degrees achievement on my first game, seems like it has already spreaded quite far.

Nah it's not that I'm any better, but that I know how to use that character (Agent 51).

And don't think I don't notice you getting all those gamer points!
