Greed Corp is a fresh and innovative turn-based strategy game for Xbox Live Arcade. It will be the first in a series of different types of games situated in a rich, fictional world inspired by the industrial revolutions and their destructive effects on the environment. Featuring an innovative land collapsing mechanic which constantly alters the strategic landscape, you must destroy your enemies or the very land they stand on before they do it to you. Build Harvesters to reap your land for credits and spend them on armories and cannons. Manufacture walkers to conquer enemy territory and order carriers to transport your troops across the map. Ultimately, defeat your enemies by eliminating their troops and destroying or capturing their structures.

Dr. Diggabone's getting too old for archaeological digs, or so he says. Truth be told, he's just plain lazy… That's where you jump into Lazy Raiders® and take control as you spin and flip mazes to send the Doctor or your Avatar on a gravity-defying quest for lost relics that would bring him instant fortune and glory. Of course you'll have to deal with greedy thieves, pesky minions, and ingenious traps along the way. If there weren't any challenges, you'd just grow lazy … and we wouldn't want that, would we?

So, this week I picked up the full versions of Greed Corp and Lazy Raiders. But truth be told, I haven't even tried the demo of Fret Nice yet, even though I have heard some good things about it from online friends.
Greed Corp is not a pick-up and play turn-based strategy game. It took me some time to figure out the controls. And I am still not too comfortable with them as I write this. But I am a fan of the genre and Greed Corp has changed the landscape... figuratively.
Lazy Raiders is just plain fun! I picked up half of the achievements in just my first hour of playing the game! I also received an avatar award and was feeling really good about the game. Until I realized that I wasn't getting the gold medal times! So it looks like I will be replaying each level over-and-over in order to satisfy my need for leaderboard dominance!
I should also mention that both of these games felt like they were priced accordingly at 800 MSP ($10 USD) each.
