Novadrome crashes onto XBLA

Gamerscore blog has just announced that this week's XBLA Wednesdays' release will be Novadrome. We've been looking forward to this game since we first started reporting about it back in February. While this game was initially scheduled for a spring 2006 release, we'll happily take it now.

Sporting "15 arenas, supports 8 players, has 20 vehicles, several game modes (career, arcade, multiplayer, and free play)" and coming in at 800 points, this game has the potential of being the next big thing.

Maybe we should set up a little online play Wednesday night, who's in?

Cool, but not

Cool, but not great controls. I feel disconnected from the vehicle, but I haven't tried multiplayer, which should be fun. Also before I got to work, I got 99th place on the lumines leaderboards with 85 blocks in 60seconds. They are really packing it with 100plussers. I will get it AAAGh./

I got 90. That put me in

I got 90. That put me in 29th place on Sunday, but by last night I was already down to 62nd. (or "62th" as Lumines calls it). I don't think 90 is going to keep me on the list, but it's my highest score ever so far.

Anyways, I can't wait to try Novadrome tonight.

personally, i didnt really

personally, i didnt really enjoy this game that much. it could have used quite a bit more work IMHO.

worst game ever
in my opinion novadrome is the worst game on the arcade to date. The controls are horrible, as are the graphics and gameplay modes.

While I don't think the game is as bad some of the Hardwood games, the fact that they are even in the same category speaks volumes.

Episode 6

episode 6 was delayed because YEW couldn't do it due to the holidays. the next one however is going to be really good, so keep your eyes peeled!
