Rumor: Quake III: Team Arena Coming to XBLA
GameAlmighty has discovered an ESRB leak for Quake III: Team Arena for Xbox 360 by Pi Studios. Immediately, everyone drew the likely conclusion of the game being released on Xbox Live Arcade, which most unannounced titles on the ESRB tend to become. Another possibility is that it will be a pack-in with Enemy Territory: Quake Wars much like the Quake 4 came with Quake II on the Xbox 360. What exactly will happen? Who knows as Microsoft, Activision and Pi are all mum at the moment. Not to mention that the ESRB website has pulled the Quake III: Team Arena listing from their site. Oops?!? Gotta say I'd love to see
Gotta say I'd love to see QIII on XBLA. As this is a online focused game I'd hope more effort is put into the netcode (doom is unplayable over live). I wonder will they drop this on us like with Doom last year at E3. That was one of the coolest announcements.
If it does come with Quake 4
If it does come with Quake 4 I hope the do it like Geo Wars/PGR3. I also wish they would just put Quake 2 in xbla.
