Wow, boom boom rocket has to be one of the most addictive XBLA arcade games I have played. I think I may have actually put more time into this one than Castlevania:SOTN

Completing 5 laps in endurance on the hard difficulty is going to be tough, anybody have any tips??

I don't know what it was, but I felt a little underwhelmed by BBR. It probably was due to the fact that I was playing Elite Beat Agents at the time.

I will go back and give it another chance though.

I loved it. I was really hooked on BBR for a while, but I haven't gotten back to it since I had to get my 360 repaired.

You really have to like the music to enjoy the game, I think. Some of the music is well done and well coordinated with the fireworks. In particular, the long winding streams of 8th notes in Tocatta & Funk and Game Over Beethoven are really fun after a lap or two on endurance mode.

As for tips, I really think the only thing is to practice. I think Smooth Operetta is probably the easiest one to go 5 laps.

Yeah, I am with ya. I just didn't enjoy Boom Boom Rocket as much as I thought I would. I am big into rhythm games too, I just didn't 'feel' it. Probably because I was playing Guitar Hero II and Dance Dance Revolution at the time. I am sure I will pick it up again sometime soon.

Speaking of, I picked up Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting just lastnight after almost a year hiatus, I kept going for "Perfect World Champion" a long time ago, and would end up losing to Sagat or M. Bison - .

First try in forever, and I got it.

That reminds me Klutch, I need to implement User titles for the forums, so I can change yours to "Brags about Ach. Tomacco can't get!"

I love BBR, but the songs get repetitive pretty quickly. My fiance and I play fairly often and I just don't get excited about hearing the same songs over and over again. Perhaps after they release an expansion pack I'll get back into it. Back to Catan...
