*WOC: Weeks on Charts
After the jump -- armchair analyzing!
Prince of Persia comes out on top despite its arrival mid-week. No real surprise there as the buzz on this game has been fantastic. Ubisoft did a great job of keeping this behind closed doors until it was ready for prime time.
Pac-Man C.E. holds the second spot as more people discover the power of digital crack. UNO still holds strong (most likely due to the Live Pack-in). Aegis Wing and Hexic HD (both free) reappear -- could this be a sign of an influx of new Live users?
Texas Hold 'em is also back on the charts, no doubt assisted by the Alltel contest.
Any other probable prognostications all of you would like to make?

I'm surprised to see Aegis
I'm surprised to see Aegis Wing on there. It never made the list before, despite being downloaded more in its first week than the average game does. I figured they left it off because it was never technically purchased.
Maybe this week they're changing it to include free games, hence the rise of Hexic which has probably always been in or around the top 10. Has Hexic ever appeared on the list before? I imagine they credit one sale for every hard drive sold?

Since this is a list of
Since this is a list of purchases, not live activity...
Hexic is kind of a baseline figure you can use to extrapolate from. Since Hexic is only sold with the purchase of an Xbox or a hard drive.
That represents, if i recall my figures correctly, something like 50,000 copies of hexic each week. (200k+ xboxes sold each month, a high percentage of which come with hard drives attached. Plus some number of stand-alone HD sales.)
Now, Aegis wing is on the list. Is that still free? How much is it to purchase, if not? ( I should know, I try to keep on top of this kind of thing for my xbla faq, but I haven't updated it in a few weeks.)
Hold'em is back on the chart with the recent promotional push (NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO PLAY if you like sending postcards.) This game is one of the biggest disappointments for me on the XBLA... sure it's poker, and I play it... but the designers had no prior experience with online poker, and it still shows. And no multi-table tourneys? but that's a different rant alltogether.
And with that said, the rest of the bunch reads like a list of recently released games.
