Tomb Raider Anniversary Rumor Squashed

I'm not a fan of this decision as I played Legend on the PC before I got a pc and would rather play this title on Xbox but now can't.

They did say they'll also release it later on a disk.

I'd probably rather wait for the retail version. But it depends on the price difference, the download size, etc. Heck, will the DLC version be limited to 250 gamerscore?

I think it's kind of uncool that they're forcing you to buy Legends for the downloading aspect of it. I could see if they gave a price incentive for those who had already bought it, but using the downloading part as a way to sell a couple extra copies isn't cool.

I know I could always just buy it at retail, but I really like the idea of downloadable gaming, which is one of the reasons why I'm a fan of XBLA in the first place. I want to support this kind of service, but it just seems like a bust that either way I'd have to go to a store to get this game (well, for a guy like me who doesn't own Legends, at least).

Maybe I should just go around and buy Legends. I enjoyed the demo anyway, so perhaps I should just give in.

Legends is a really fun game. I played the entire thing and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Yeah Legend (there's only 1 Legend, btw ) was great. I think it was worth the $60, but you can probably get it a lot cheaper now. But I agree that it sucks for people who don't have it.

Loved Legend, played it till I got 1000 gamerscore nailed down with no cheats and as many here enjoyed every bit of it. Very glad didn't get rid of it if, specially after hearing this news.
