Xbox Live Arcade Wednesdays... R.I.P.
Loved the program, but it appears to be dead, as according to Major Nelson's blog, Mortal combat is hitting the XBLA today, a Saturday for those reading in the future.
Well, I don't much care as long as titles keep coming on a fairly regular basis.
I don't think it's the end of XBLA Wednessdays, but rather just a reation to the game accidently showing up on the service. They pulled it back down but probably figured it would be an unfair advantage to those who were able to get the game early.
Yeah, Major Nelson cleared this up a little in his podcast.
MS seemed to be distancing themselves from the "Wednesday" idea in small steps, and so I figured this was the last straw... instead, someone forgot to check the "Don't post this" button when loading the game onto the XBL servers.
