Gamerscore blog has just announced that this week's XBLA Wednesdays' release will be Novadrome. We've been looking forward to this game since we first started reporting about it back in February. While this game was initially scheduled for a spring 2006 release, we'll happily take it now.
Sporting "15 arenas, supports 8 players, has 20 vehicles, several game modes (career, arcade, multiplayer, and free play)" and coming in at 800 points, this game has the potential of being the next big thing.
Maybe we should set up a little online play Wednesday night, who's in?

Co-founder of Stainless Games Neil Barnden was kind enough to answer a few questions about Crystal Quest, XBLA Development and there next game Novadrome.
While digging around for more info on Stainless Games’ next XBLA game Novadrome, we noticed that as early as two years ago, this game was in development for the Xbox, PlayStation 2, GameCube, PC and PSP. Also, screen shots were released as seen in this post at GameGossip. Now, it should be noted that the graphics should end up looking a lot better than they do in these shots, however they should give you a good idea of the art direction the title will take.

It seems that Stainless Games is working on next is NovaDrome a game described as: On a planet ruled by the sadistic NovaLords, human beings secretly harvested from Earth are put in deadly gladitorial racing combat where the chances of survival are near impossible … it’s not good entertainment if everybody gets out alive! But you are determined to win your freedom by racing one of 26 vehicles in over 90 racing stages across 5 blisteringl-paced events of death and excitement. Keep your vehicle upgraded, leave no gaps for your opponents, and put on a good show! It’s looking like a spring 2006 release (but then again what for XBLA isn’t these days). More info as it comes in…
