Our forum sleuths turned up TeamXbox's pre-official announcement that Sea Life Safari was due out this week (and they even reviewed it to be helpful). The real question now becomes, will anything else be joining it? Though another "real" question would be this: how many games will Sierra release this year? Though the answer to that question is obviously "a heckuva lot!"
Any Pokemon Snap fans out there looking to pick this one up?

[Update]: Gamerscoreblog has given us the "anything else" for this week. Turns out Elements of Destruction is joining Sea Life Safari this week. Anyone have the stomach for a natural disaster game after recent world events?
To get you pumped up (and presumably to get encourage you to open your wallet) Sierra Online has released two more videos for Assault Heroes 2. Both feature previews of many of the big bosses you'll be facing in the game. You've got an out of control demolition crane, a robotic snake, and the ever-popular Mecha-Orca, among others.
Check 'em out and then let me know if you're a sucker like me and likely to spend some points next week.

TeamXbox has a major scoop on Assault Heroes 2. They just posted 3 new videos and 8 new screens of the game, all in glorious HD resolutions. The biggest revelation inside the bunch is that space is the new combat frontier in the game.
(Links below are the low-res links for the bandwidth or patience-challenged)
Watch the new videos (Access Multiple Weapons On-Foot, Destroy The Rainforest, Hijack Enemy Copters), check out the old trailer (with added hugeness), and peek at the new screens. I must say, the game appears to be everything I enjoyed about the last game with a slick new coat of paint and just enough new toys to fill me with destructive glee.
Other tidbits of info after the break.

This'll be a quick post. (Must sleep at some point.) I just wanted to share this video with everyone right when I found it. Here's your first taste of the hack-n-slash fest (guest starring randomly-created dungeons) that Sierra calls Arkadian Warriors. Post your impressions of the video in the comments. Do we have a winner here or not?

Wanako Studios, the largest Latin American video game development house (and now owned by Vivendi/Sierra Online), is churning out a new game called Arkadian Warriors. Details are a bit thin, but based on Wanako's pedigree (Assault Heroes, 3D Ultra Minigolf) it's fairly safe to assume that this is headed for XBLA.
The announcement came out of Leipzig with the following blurb and feature description:
Define your legacy... Awaken your inner-beast... Fight with one of Arkadian' three powerful warriors to the ultimate confrontation with Gorgon herself. Spanning treacherous dungeons consisting of countless enemies, heinous and powerful bosses, your warriors will embark on a trek of unimaginable proportions.
If that's got you interested (or even if it hasn't) here are some screens to sink your teeth into. (More talking after the break.)
[Update]: Ross Erickson has confirmed with us that this game is indeed headed for XBLA.
[Update2]: We unfortunately had the incorrect name of the title, it's now fixed.
Major Nelson has posted the lastest list of marketplace content and it definately is a bountiful harvest today for XBLArcaders. Content, pictures and themes are available for 3D Ultra Minigolf (content), Alien Hominid (content, pictures), Band of Bugs (content), Mad Tracks (content, theme), and Soltrio Solitaire (content).
Marketplace users in Japan will be able to finally pick up a copy of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night on their native Marketplace.
Full details of this content is available on Major Nelson's website.
The latest tip is in from Germany. The USK has released a rating for 3D Ultra Minigolf Adventures Expansion. I had not heard of any possible add-ons for the game but my money is on this being some sort of upcoming DLC.
Well keep you posted if we discover more.

If you start up Assault Heroes, you'll be teased with an option to update the title. XBLArcade has learned that the update contains code to solve some of the connection issues that people have been experiencing with online play. I know of at least a few people who have been waiting (some more patiently than others) for this fix since the title was release. Hopefully the update will reinvigorate the scene.
Sounds great doesn't it? Unfortunately, it seems due to a snag on Microsoft's end, the update cannot be downloaded. While they are certainly working on it as we speak, it seems we'll have to wait just a little bit longer.
[UPDATE] It seems that the update is now available, so those of you who had connectivity issues with the game, go check it out and let us know how it goes.
