With everyone wondering what the push back to 2007 and a partnership with Virtual Toys will mean for HoopWorld, Joystiq went strait to the source for some answers. Discussing development on XBLA and the omnipresent 50MB limit, it's an interesting interview that you can check out here.

HoopWorld pushed back to 2007
Citing difficulties getting "...all our content within [the mandated] limitations", Streamline Studios has brought in the "hardcore engineering house", Virtual Toys in a move that will push back the release date of Hoopworld to sometime in 2007.
In conversations with Gamespot, Streamline co-founder Hector Fernandez, stated that although the rework of HoopWorld wouldn't involve any major rework, extra content was certainly not out of the picture.

Gamespot Interviews Streamline Studios
During E3, Gamespot got the chance to interview Hector and Alexander Fernandez from Streamline Studios, makers of the upcoming Hoopworld. While there was no real "new" info, they do have a few game play videos sprinkled through out.

Last week at the GDC, IGNβs Jonathan Miller got a chance to chat with Hector Fernandez, the chief creative officer at Streamline Studios.
