New XBLA Menu Screens?

Xbox-Scene.com is reporting that within the September XDK release developers have been able to get a preview of what the dashboard will look like after the fall update. While I for one will be quite happy if this ends up being the case as the current version is a little on the cluttered side. You can check out the article, along with screenshots here.

interesting in the screenshots is the Kameo pack for Uno. With no release date for the pack, one has to wonder if MS is just keeping it in their back pockets in case there are any other last minute delays.

I'd love to see some

I'd love to see some improvements in the way the XBLA navigation works. Right now it frustrates me to no end that the hard drive doesn't look for the titles I own until I hit the XBLA Games button... and with the number of XBLA games I have, it takes awhile for the list to fill out completely.

 

Why can't the xbox pre-cache this information every time I boot to dash? or at least start looking it up when I start navigating to the XBLA section?

I completely agree with this.

The spring update did make it a bit faster, but still not fast enough, plus as new games are released, it gets slower and slower.
