My roommate recently bought it and while I was bored (and on his 360), I gave it a try. This is one of THE BEST games on XBLA.

For those not in the know, it's a game sort of like SimCity where you create an outpost. The outposts have a limited number of available slots for modules, and modules can be for entertainment, power, nature, etc. The trick is to balance all of these modules with the fact that there is a limited amount of slots and continue to profit as a station.

Check it out, it's worth the money.

I certainly agree, this is right up there with Cloning Clyde as my favorite games on XBLA.

I can't wait for the update that makes the last two achievements available.

Also, have you tried out any of the DLC packs? some of them are pretty damn good.

I've only done the quick play type where I don't have any mission objectives. Once I get a few XBLA games complete like Cloning Clyde, I'm going to purchase Outpost and play it.

I have burned out on that game, picked it back up, burned out on it again.

Sometimes I get stuck with a station that isn't generating enough cash, and I don't know how to fix it. So frustrating that I put the game down for a few weeks. More statistics and graphs would probably help me to solve my issues with the game, but they're not there.

yeah the scales of what you need keep switching really quick and you have to keep up. it's almost like you're trying to hit a moving target.

Outpost Kaloki X, is one of the better XBLA arcade games. It is very hard to pick up, but very easy to get into. I believe one time I played for 2 days straight, and didn't get bored. Started playing something else the next day, and just "couldn't" pick it up again.
