So I'm taking a break from my "Ultra Fast Food" attempts because it's driving me crazy, so I figured I'd start trying the Hero Achievement.

This one looks like it's going to be even harder!!! Anyone have any hints on how to beat these bastards? I can occasionally beat them once, but five times in a row? I must be missing something here.

I'm not sure. I haven't moved up to hard yet, but the most of the time it takes a bit of luck in getting the power ups that you need to beat them. I've been browsing the web and haven't really seen anything yet. One thing I was thinking is maybe move it to the light class as you'll be able to react better to sudden issues that arise.

Unfortunately, I have no real tips for this one.

You have no idea how many times I won 4 races in a row, only to lose the 5th race by a hair. So, so aggravating.

I just got it this weekend and have a few tips.

- Choose a "heavy" sports car and not the french car. The french car will fly too much if shot with rockets/mortar etc. (btw I chose German)

- Hope for boosts in the beginning. You want to get in the lead and then not have to worry about boosting anymore. This also goes with not taking hte french car because you can boost a lot more and not worry about flying to high.

- Stock up on the "bubble shield" weapon. The shield weapon will ensure your victory. Once you are in the lead just keep you weapon focus always on the shield. There is no chance that a target behind you will catch up if you don't make any mistakes and don't get hit, which is where the shield comes in. The second you see a red target under you hit the shield and you're safe. There is no need for boosting after this part.

- Watch you spring... don't get too low (obvious)
