So it's been a while, but here we go again, it's the XBLArcade.com, XBLA only, Leader board. As per usual, if you'd like to be on the list, simply head on over to this site and sign up. For those of you who are currently on the leader board, please take a second to make sure that your user profile is up to date and that it includes your gamertag, as we are looking to change the way that this list is generated so that we can provide far more often updates.

Can we just use the genre board from MGC? Arcade titles are really just the ones we have/can downloaded from marketplace. Not BurgerK games. I think it changes the board significantly. + or - 600 points.
I mean in the end I don't care that much, but I'd rather the list didn't judge me or anyone on whether I/we bought or played those BK games (which I didn't). Just because they only gave 200 gamerpoints, doesn't change the fact that they were just cheap full featured retail games, not XBLA titles...

No problem, I'm not sure I understand the Top360 comment as that's not what we are using.
As for the BK games, if the majority of people think we shouldn't include them, then I'll cut them out, what does everyone think?

I don't care whether you include them in the leaderboard or not, but they're not Xbox Live Arcade games. Is there any question about that?
i think it's sort of a weird
i think it's sort of a weird thing with the bk games. a lot of people do consider them arcade games (example: xbox360achievements.org) and their feel is a lot like xbla games in addition to the achievements.
granted people outside of North America can't get it, which gives them an unfair advantage.
then again does it even really matter? it's just a bragging list
yeah I realized that
you were using MGC already, my bad. I just think they shouldn't be included in the tally. It would just make the playing field even for everyone & on top of which we are using the MGC genreboard & they don't count them, so let's stick with it. Not to mention it would make your job easier.
re: bk games
It's weird, I guess I added the BK games because I always expected them to show up on the service after the promotion at the stores was over. While it could still happen, it's starting to look more and more like it's not going to.

It is still roughly accurate. I know I don't cheat... I'm just happy that even with all the account recovery & smashtv glitching I am still in the top 20. I think most of the legit guys know who's full of it and who does their achievements themselves.
I used to trash Borlog for not getting his own achievements for some games, but I've spoken to him & he's not a bad guy... whatever, if that's how he's got the top spot, he's gotta live with it, not me. I will continue to do stuff legit & even though I probably will never get wave 100 or BBGM, I will stay competitive.

I just want to warn tomacco that I'm shooting for you... I bought Root Beer Tapper (love it), New Rally X (love it) and Scramble (love it) and am racking up achievements in them. I know previously I said these games suck, but I take it back. Oldly enough my favorite is new rally x.
Man I have really fallen
Man I have really fallen back on this list because I haven't purchased any of the games released lately (novadrome, new rally-x, root beer tapper, etc)
