XBLA Top 10 -- Week of 8/13/07 Belated Edition
All that taunting of Major Nelson caught up to me. Now he's putting out the top 10 every week just to embarrass me when I lack the time to write them up with my typical table-making flourish. Damn him. I thought my tardiness escaped unnoticed but I was wrong.
Without further ado, here is our XBLArcade-certified expanded version of the top 10 list with more useless (but fun) drivel after the break.

*WOC: Weeks on Charts
Track & Field people? Seriously? All those retro naysayers got a nice slap in the face this week when nostalgia and button mashing outweighed shark slaying dolphins and sparkly new hexes.
But the biggest story has to be the absence of two top 10 mainstays: Worms and (even more disturbing in its disappearance) UNO. What happened? Don't people like card games and anthropomorphic armies of worms anymore? Are we in bizarro-world?
At least Minigolf is holding strong. It's the only game on the list that is in double-digits for WOC.
And where did Carcassonne come from? I assume it's from the DLC, but color me surprised that 12 river tiles could really drive sales. Oh wait. I saw an ad for those 12 tiles on the games blade on my dashboard all week. It's all making sense now.

Does UNO come free with any
Does UNO come free with any hardware purchases? seems like it does, and could make it a off-limits game for this chart.
I think your weeks-on chart math is slightly wrong. Track and field should be at two, while ecco and hexic should be at one.
I'm not going to give you any trouble about how late you were to post this, though. It's been ages since I updated my unofficial FAQ with the number of games and the cost of all the games.
Uno comes free through a few
Uno comes free through a few different means, including the Live Vision pack. However, the usage of a code is considered a purchase for the means of this chart.
Maybe everyone who wants Uno has it at this point?
Just to clarify my math for
Just to clarify my math for the Weeks on Chart number. I round *down*. Since Hexic 2 and Ecco came out last week (I know that this post is late which makes it kinda weird) this was the first week it could be on the chart but it only had 1/2 a week to accrue sales. Thus, they get the "-".

About time! ^_^I always read
About time! ^_^
I always read this list on Major Nelson's blog but I enjoy the layout and your useless but fun drivel :p
My thoughts:
I'm a little surprised Track & Field stayed up there as well.
People bought Hexic 2 in spite of all the (ridiculous) complaints.
It will be very interesting to see if Uno and Worms return next week.
Carcassonne! Such a great game. Glad to see it on the list.
