The blue hedgehog and the red echidna were sworn adversaries in Sonic 3, but in the platform adventure Sonic & Knuckles™, Knuckles realizes that he's been just a pawn in the schemes of Dr. Eggman (aka Dr. Robotnik). Knuckles, the former adversary, now supports Sonic to chase the common enemy, and each must use their strengths to acquire the priceless Master Emerald and save Angel Island.

“Sonic & Knuckles” save Angel Island from Dr. Robotnik on September 9th at 9 a.m. GMT (2:00 a.m. PDT).

Also this week, Xbox LIVE Gold subscribers will be able to pick up Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords for 400 Microsoft Points ($5). That’s a 50% savings off the current price. The game originally started out at 1200 Microsoft Points ($15) back in 2007, and was later discounted to 800 Microsoft Points when it became an Arcade Hit selection. So, if you haven't played the game before, this would definitely be the time to pick it up as this sale only lasts one week.

And finally, there seems to be a ton of XBLA DLC coming out this week. First up is four new puzzle packs for Buku Sudoku that add 1200 new puzzles per back for 160 Microsoft Points Each. Buku Sudoku Puzzle Pack 7, 8, 9, & 10 will greatly increase the number of puzzles for your game. Next up is a new environment for Texas Hold’em. Liven up your Texas Hold'em game with some new scenery using either the Texas Hold 'em - Environment: Casino or Environment: Hip Hop for only 160 Microsoft Points each.
