It's out... what did you think?

I didn't have that issue personally. I actually haven't played the first 2 games online yet by doing the Quick Match ranked. Granted, I only played like 4 games.

Well. I managed to get a good amount of time online with the game. Gotta say I haven't had that much fun online since Marbe Blast Ultra. Some favourites include Foosball, any of the straight racing modes, golf. Theres a load of variety in modes, so it doesn't get tired. One issue everybody has talked about is the lobby and the inability to keep people together after a game finishes. DenisDenis (Mad Tracks dev) posted on the official xbox forums that he is aware of the feedback and will investigate possibilities.

On a side note, I totally can't understand some of the low review scores for the game. Eurogamer - 30%, Gamespot - 46% & IGN -68%. What are they smoking? These are big sites and if people do listen they'll be missing a great game. My score - 90%.

While I normally love eurogamer, that review is an absolute joke!

The first page is all about how he had problems with a race

1st try: he makes a wrong turn then won't believe the game when it tells him.

2nd try: he can't tell the difference between a wall and the ground

3rd try: complains that their is an obstacle in the way

4th try: he complains that he doesn't know what button is what.

5th try: he runs into something that may actually be a bug (then again if he's worried about how "stupid"the AI is maybe he should switch it from easy)

So all in all basically he's horrible at the game, and it's the games fault.

I'm not trying to say that this game is perfect, the lack of an online lobby system is a huge issue in my book, but come on, at least go through the help if you don't know what you're doing!

Good summing up of that awfull review. Sounds like the guy played it for 10 minutes before heading off for summer holiday. He totally dismisses it. A lot of the elements he compains about is actually what gives the game depth (i.e. the door you have to blow up at the end of the tunnel - mess up and everybody behind you beats you to the line and loads of laughter ensues). Also my 90% score is in anticipation of the lobby being fixed and the addition of 2 DLC (at 350pts a pop). I hadn't played online much in the last month, but this now makes that Xbox Live subscription worth it. BTW- I usually go to Eurogamer also. From now on I'll be weary of John Walker reviews.

I humbly apologize to mad tracks. I actually had some satisfying multiplayer experiences last night.

I'm not going to say it's as good as Marble Blast.... but i no longer feel bad about my purchase.

I'll probably start using it as my backup game until someone on my friends list beats my tremendous pinball score on the speed table...
