I really enjoy Carcassone, but 300 points for 12 tiles? Anyone else's comments?
It's hard to complain about something that costs $3.75. But it does seem a little silly when you compare the amount of content to the cheaper Band of Bugs expansion, or even 10 new solitaire games for half the price.
I'd probably buy it if I was still playing Carcassonne a lot, just for some new variety to the game. Maybe I'll pick it up later.
Well, that's a lot cheaper than buying 12 physical tiles for the expansion at your local game store...
It might be a licensing thing I suppose, but over 200 points is really pushing it for 12 tiles in my opinion. It is the same game just slightly longer.
If it was the traders, dragon or catherdrals sets which offered rule changes then you are getting much more than a few tiles as you are getting play variations.
