After all the gnashing of teeth over War World (the "confirmation" was apparently solely based on the Hot August press release and we know how reliable those can be) Microsoft has thrown us a bone. And by bone, I mean a bare-knuckled straight-right to the kisser.
Our surprise guest for the festivities this Wednesday is the SEGA Genesis brawler Streets of Rage 2 (400 MSP).
Why must everything be about fighting these days? Even the puzzle games. Sigh.
You buying or are you still bitter about War World?

I bet this is the reason why War World was booted in the first place.
I'm totally fine with it, though.

More likely they don't like to have two 800 (or higher) point games on sale on the same week. A decent number of people purchase almost every XBLA title just to play through for the gamer score and trying to sell 1200 points in games a week is a lot easier than 1600+ points.
BEsides, spreading out the more premium (or entirely new games) gives a game a wek to announce no matter how slow retail releases maybe at that particular time.
