I have just received my September 2006 issue of the Official Xbox Magazine, which has a pretty nice section of Xbox Live Arcade goodness. While it shares everything that we already know, there is one part that caught my eye, as will yours:
It says that before Labor Day, which is September 4th, we will be seeing four additional arcade games released; Texas Hold 'em Poker, Time Pilot, Scramble, Lumines Live!. Other details include:
- Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 will have Live Play, (Of course?)
- Vision camera will work with Uno, Texas Hold 'em Poker, Hardwood Hearts, Hardwood Spades
- Scramble will feature side by side competitive multiplayer, for two (No co-op?)
- Lumines Live! will be 1,200 Microsoft Points

Cool, anything more detailed on Lumines? Like specifically what game modes it includes for 1200. After the rumors that some or all (or the only?) multiplayer mode(s) will be seperate paid downloads, my main concern now is just what content is included in the game.

I know this post doesn't relate to this story, but it's the most recent one you guys have posted and I'm just curious: will Galaga be out at 12:01 or 1:01 (MS Time)?
Because with Frogger, there was the delay caused by someone forgetting to consider daylight savings time, according to Major Nelson. With Cloning Clyde, there was never any reason announced as to why it was an hour late, but it was. So I'm just curious, does anyone know if Galaga will actually be on time this time, or if 1:01 is just what we should expect from now on?
I would just be happy we get these things within 24 hours of the announced date. Considering how many games had march on them and are still not out. Getting to the hour is kinda tricky I do suppose. I am picky but not that picky. I just wait until wednesday morning since I would be too tired to enjoy the game staying up past 1 am to download it.
They will all be at 1AM until daylight savings is over.
The mistake wasn't that the games were late. The mistake was announcing that they'd be released at midnight. The release time is governed by GMT, and somebody just converted it wrong when they said it was midnight PST.

Alright, thatnks McLean. I guess I misinterpreted the whole daylight savings fiasco. Then again, time zones always confuse me anyway, so to add and remove an hour or a day every few months or years always adds much to the confusion. Especially due to the fact that time is a man-made measurement that we can't even get exactly right. :/
