Dive Into Undertow on November 21st

Short and sweet: Chair Entertainment says their Unreal 3-powered, twin-stick, underwater shooter Undertow will arrive on XBLA on November 21st.

I guess October was just too much to hope for. Then again, this might be the most notice we've ever gotten for an XBLA game. And I am not complaining one bit.

To celebrate the upcoming release, they've graced us (well, technically IGN) with a new trailer. Enjoy!

Oh, bad timing. I'm getting Mass Effect and Guitar Hero 3 that week, and Mario Galaxy the week before. Sorry Undertow, but you can't really compete with that.

even though it's coming out

even though it's coming out at a bad time for it, I'm pretty sure a lot of people will make time for this title. We'll certainly have to set up some 16 player action!

i know that id make time for it, this is one of the games ive been waiting for. i just hope it doesnt end up sucking

Yeah, November is not a good

Yeah, November is not a good time for a game to come out. An ambitious XBLA title like Undertow is just going to get swallowed up by all the AAA retail titles coming out.

If it's immediately accessible and entertaining, it could still find a space for itself, but if it takes time to learn and master, people (myself included) are probably going to concentrate on the bigger stuff instead.
