Chair Entertainment, that team of bold IP creationists behind Undertow, have been kind enough to present us with an opportunity to provide you, the XBLArcade faithful, more free stuff.
Perhaps you tried Undertow. Perhaps you liked it, but you were still on the fence. Perhaps you just need a push in the right direction. How about get your Undertow diving license for free? Sound like a plan? Good.
You know the drill, comment below for a chance to win one of two Undertow codes. But here's the twist: In your comment include the title of your favorite water (or underwater) themed story. It could be a movie, or a book, or something from the outer reaches of your mind.
Just remember, if you don't win you will just have to acquire it the old fashioned way: begging for points cards for the holidays.
(This contest is for North America only at this time as I'm not sure of the validity of the codes in other countries. If I find out they're good anywhere, I'll open it up to all. Also, one comment per person -- cheaters will be disqualified.)
[Update] I forgot (silly me) to say, you can only win one XBLArcade contest every 3 months. Sorry, bajingo. (-_-)
[Update 2] It's space cadet central over here -- contest ends 8PM Eastern on Monday. So, we'll announce the winners soon after that.

The Abyss extended special edition.
Too bad Fox hasn't released a better DVD of it, or better yet something in HD.

I'd have to with The Hunt for Red October. One of my favorite submarine movies.
So, did I win?
Favorite sea movie would be Finding Nemo, it was pretty fun to watch.

Crimson Tide is great as well.

How can it be that nobody has mentioned Jaws yet? I'd also cast a vote for Moby Dick (the book and the adaptation with Patrick Stewart)...
At least nobody brought up Titanic...

I think Jaws was the best.

It's gotta be Jaws. I was so young when I saw it that it scared me. Not enough to not swim in the ocean though!
For a game, it's definitely Feeding Frenzy. Played that one over and over and over again on my computer.
Thanks, you guys rock!

The Xbox 360's retail game BioShock has a very good story.
You'll learn new things in the game piece by piece. I think that game would become a great movie to watch, not only for the players of BioShock but also for the non-playing people.

I know BioShock has been mentioned, but it was quite great...so I'll talk about another story I really enjoy.
I think something else pretty gravy is the Loch Ness Monster (and practically any other unknown but "seen" underwater monster). I know it's not really a story per se, but it's more of a great, neato-torpedo groovy thing. One one hand, you have a ton of people who have seen this thing, but on the other hand you have no real clear video evidence. Of course, the technology to find out for sure is getting better and better, and as it does the chance of Nessie actually existing is getting slimmer and slimmer...but it's still good fun and a great story.
But, it's no BioShock :)

You never say, "I'm gonna fight you, Steve." You just smile and act natural, and then you sucker-punch him.

The story was amazing. "It was not impossible to build Rapture at the bottom of the ocean. It was impossible to build it anywhere else."
