XBLA takes a back seat with the new update?

Maybe I'm crazy, but does it not seem that XBLA now seems almost buried in the new dash? With rumors of a complete blade dedicated to the service, I guess I'm just a little disappointed.

What do you guys think?

I am not a fan of the new XBLA selection page. With about 60 XBLA titles and a handful of demos at any given time the seletion screen is just cluttered.

Also, without the game type tab having large numbers of XBLA titles becomes even more annoying to navigate since you end up waiting for all of the games to load into the menu.

It is a step forward in accessing demo but a step back in XBLA usage in my opinion.

They should make a XBLA and DEMO's tab, and then it gets divided into arcade and demo's seperately. These are the things people download most often, i'm sure.

I also feel like the XBLA was demoted a bit with this update.

In fact, I don't like the changes to the dashboard this time around in general.

I'm loving the Divx and Xvid support, though. Cut out my Tversity server and stream straight from WMP11.

But then, I'm a pirate when it comes to movies and TV shows... heh.

I've given up on Halo 3. No clan = no reason to keep playing.

Its like they know its going to get hammered by COD4 and Mass Effect, so they purposely avoided Clan support so that when they DO get completely crushed in the various year-end awards, they can say, 'dont blame this awesome game - blame our failure to support clans, which we will do soon.'

I actually think the update made XBLA MORE prominent. It's right next to demos and all other games now.

I'm not bullshitting, it took me 5 minutes just to figure out where the hell the Arcade was. Definitely a bad move on Microsoft's part. The new features are great and all, but I'm forced to do a lot of unecessary navigating.
