Contest: Win "The Dishwasher" T-shirt

DishwasherBackDetail1 As promised, I present to you the chance to win your very own T-shirt sporting the devilish looking young lad from Ska Studios The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai.

To be perfectly honest, I'm a little sad doing this contest because I actually want to keep this t-shirt for myself. But alas, our faithful XBLArcade readers have needs too and the right thing to do is to share the love. So, you guys better show me you're worth it.

Therefore, to enter, make a comment on this post and tell me your favorite (or least favorite) gore moment from a game, tv show, movie, whatever. I will select a winner early next week.

A huge thanks goes out to James Silva, the twisted mind behind the game, for giving us the opportunity to give back to our audience.

Below I have included shots of the front and back including detail shots of the amazing graphics. The shirt is a large, black, short-sleeved t-shirt.

I guess I would cite the
I guess I would cite the entirety of Dead Alive. But specifically the battle against the gigantic monster near the end. That movie is nasty, but it's awesome.

VERSUS
The movie Versus by Ryuhei Kitamura would house my favorite gory moments in cinema. Samurai killing endless amounts of zombies in a haunted forest. I could hardly pick one scene as my favorite and suggest the film to all who have not seen it. James Silva's "The Dishwasher" has much in common with the style and substance of "Versus" which is why I am greatly anticipating the chance to play it.

Any scene in Riki-Oh is a great gore-filled playground. Got the classic head-smashing scene from old Daily Show, or people cutting out their own intestines to try and strangle someone else with them....
Shogun Assassin
When I first saw Shogun Assassin in high school (yes, in school) I thought it was awesome. My favorite part had to be when the Samurai was fighting and they went after his son, and the baby carriage had hidden daggers in it. The whole movie was awesome. My Japanese teacher did fast-forward through the part with nudity, though. He said "He is sleeping with her just for warmth." I find it interesting people are so squeamish about nudity when you have a better than 50% chance of having already seen their "forbidden" body parts.
One from a new game!

OK,

So I am on Boss 3 of No More Heroes, but my "gore moment" comes from boss #1. When you upward slash the dudes arms off and his sword sticks in the ceiling w/ arms attached you just know you are in for one helluva ride. And so far it's been that kind of a ride and more. good stuff!

Easy... It's not the most

Easy...

It's not the most gory scene ever, but it's definitely the most memorable. When that annoying blond girl in Final Destination is mowed over by a city bus. It's so rad that every time I see a movie, I secretly hope that the annoying people are mowed down by buses.

T-Shirt

Dang, someone beat me to Dead Alive....

I still wanna say the scene where the guy gets his face ripped off though, and you can see his skull with all the muscle still on it. That makes me laugh.

Hostel 2 When the chick is

Hostel 2

When the chick is hanging from the ceiling naked while another chick is laying naked in a bath tub under her with a scithe and she starts stabbing her in the back with it. All the blood starts flowing down on top of her until she's covered with it, then she takes a smaller blade and slices the girls neck so that blood starts squirting all over her and she is rubbing herself in it and then spits out blood with this look on her face like she just had the biggest orgasm of her life. That was awesome.

contest
My video game gore would probably be when the guy in Indigo Prophecy, (Lucas Kane I believe) stabs the guy in the bathroom at the diner. Meanwhile, some creepy unknown cultist guy is pantomiming the entire charade, obviously in some sort of puppetry manuever. Good times.
Hedge Trimmers
The most "mind scarring" gore moment would have to be when "Jordan White" gets his "entire situation" cut off with Hedge trimmers at the end of the movie "The Doom Generation". I have a pretty strong stomach and can normally handle things like that, but the tension built up from the entire movie, then the finale just put me over the "hedge". I suggest watching this movie to give yourself the "I should have never watched this movie" feeling. :)
Off the top of my head, I'm

Off the top of my head, I'm gonna have to go with any of the fight scenes in 300.

Gears of War
My favorite is when I go around pistol whipping in GOW and I get a head shot from it. Their heads just explode and I love it so much!!!!
Dead Rising boss
favorite gore moment would be the part after you beat Adam the psycho clown. the cutscene shows him falling on his stomach on top of his 2 chainsaws. then it just shows him getting sliced to death while laughing...very disturbing but awesome!
The original cut of Battle

The original cut of Battle Royale (the Japan only full gore release, you can only get the editted versions in most of the world ; ;), but specifically the poisoning scene. The overtly violent parts of the movie didn't irk me at all, but the vomitting of at blood all over without any wanring got me.

In the general release the girl just blurps up some blood and dies then the girls all shoot eachother, but in the original it is a good 30 seconds of blood and coating eachother before the gun fight. It was one of the many scenes they reshot with different gore levels so they could push the censors as far as possible but still release the film. After the initial showing public outrage caused the re-editting to the less gore filled versions.

The first time I saw it I was about 5' away from a full sized theatre screen in a private projector room so that may have contributed. Tetsuo on a screen that large and that close is rather...disturbing.

Points to those mentioning Braindead.

Favorite Horror scene
My absolute favorite horror scene would have to be in Halloween: The curse of Michael Myers. There was this really gory scene when Michael and this mean father who lived in Michael's house were in the basement. Michael throws him up against an electrical outlet and he keeps shaking until his head blows up. It was very funny and scaryy. I didn't like the guy but after I jumped I laughed because he died.
Hostel Part II
Not sure if this qualifies as gore, but the end part of Hostel Part II where the girl cuts the guy's thing off and feeds it to the dogs is the most horrifying thing I've ever seen. Seen that part soooo many times and it still churns my stomach.

Don't worry I didn't count you as cheating. Sorry for it taking EONS to get a winner picked, but I have *finally* picked one. Just pending a reply email back. Once I get that then I'll declare the winner publicly.

Shox is technology developed by Nike and incorporated into several of their flagship athletic shoes. Shox are small hollow columns that make up the midsole of the shoe.
