Visit the links that ashn0d posted in his article and you'll see both talk about the possibility of an unnamed sports title in the works for XBLA.

Gametap is the originator of the article... NeoGaf the originator of the update rumor.

We give credit to the originators of the story not the people who alerted us to it. I'm not sure where ashn0d found out about it, maybe gametap, maybe somewhere else. I for one read about the Gametap article on 360Fanboy and threw in the rumor update.

I read this at Xbox360Fanboy, but what they posted was a rumor that the game could be a snowboard title based on the background of the developer. I thought that said rumor wasn't very accurate so I decided to cite the original website (GameTap). That's why I didn't mention Xbox360Fanboy, because their post was almost the same as GameTap's (except for the rumor)

a golf game? if so, i hope it bombs. We need some other sports games. Fable's arcade game will have bar games down, so we'll need a snowboarding, or a bowling game. A jet ski game would be cool to. A bmx game? or a skate boarding game?

There's no need for a skateboarding game when you have skate from EA. However, if you're talking about skate or die, that's another story.

I'm confused. You think that the background of a deveopler is BAD grounds to judge possible future content? BUT, you do think that a random poster on NeoGAF is GOOD grounds to judge possible future content? Then, you post a picture of a snowboarder when you don't think that it's likely that a snowboarding game is being made.

So very, very confused.

Jedi, I'm not sure why you are so upset that we didn't link to your post on 360 Fanboy.

We do not link to who we originally read the article on. We link to the originator of the information. The 360 Fanboy article added nothing to the conversation. I personally added the update of the NeoGaf post saying that it probably isn't a golf game because we already have one on the service.

If you have an issue with that you should take it up with
owner of the site Tomacco and not in a public forum where
you are now essentially a troll.

Taking a look at the post right under the one in question it looks like xbox 360 fanboy have the exact same policy as I'm guessing the
author of this post isn't a regular of the happy tree
friends website.

As for NeoGAF, if you're a regular their I'm sure you know when it comes to XBLA Shard is certainly not a "Random Poster", hell if I could get him to start writing here, I certainly would.

Also if you check the timestamps, Shard did post the news about 17 hours earlier.
