That's right. Forumite Hazuki has pointed us all in the direction of the Geometry Wars 2 achievements as posted on Achieve360Points.com. The achievements hint at a variety of Geo Wars fun. Modes apparently include the previously seen Waves (see PGR4) and also King and Deadline. There is even a cryptic achievement called Smile which give us the clue "2, 4, 11, 15, 17, 18 and 19".
We know that we got burned by an prediction of the release of Geo Wars 2 many months ago so we won't make an out and out prediction this time. However, doesn't it seem obvious that news of a release date (or even the release itself) would come at the impending E3 in less than two weeks? Sure seems like good timing in my mind. But will the game be a mere 400 MSP like last time? My guess is no. Let the speculation commence!

If the Geometry Wars sequel will be 400MSP I will absolutely buy it but if it's going to be 800MPS I might not buy it.
I think that 400MSP wouldn't be enough from GW2 though but then again 800MSP would be too much. The solution for that would be to add a new price like 500MSP. I wish Microsoft would understand to do that someday.

Microsoft's smugness over XBLM has already started to backfire; witness the long-running (and recently "rectified") DRM debacle, price gouging, time-limited content, lack of quality control, non-free advertising themes & gamerpics, and general disdain for its own users ("Your family's locked out of your paid content? So what? Buy it again." was their answer for the last 2.5 years before the DRM fix).
There are a number of games I would've already purchased were it not for the DRM issues and over-pricing. Low-selling items should be discounted, as they are in the real world, which would drive additional sales that would not otherwise have been made. It's virtual content, so the cost of reproduction is extremely minimal.

So, who's developing it? Bizarre or the Galaxies team?
