Could it be that the one of the most public disagreements between a developer and Microsoft finally be over?  No I'm not talking about the N+ developers admitting that XBLA titles are not crap, but rather the almost forgotten tiff about Marble Blast Ultra DLC.

In an interview with the XBox domain (then just a blog run by Thrills Killa), Pat Willson let quite a few details out about what was supposed to be an imminent release.  Specifically Pat mentions that there would be 11 multiplayer maps added to the game. 

Then it happened...

Almost two years ago we brought you word that while the DLC had been finished, Garage Games and Microsoft could not come to an agreement about releasing it.  While no other details were released at the time, it was assumed that GG wanted the content to be free, while Microsoft had other ideas.  After a bit of back peddling by Pat Willson where he basically stated to never say never, everything went silent.

Until now.

Xbox360Achievements.org has uncovered that the current listing of Achievements for MBU now has 15 Achievements.  Looking at the three new ones, it looks like we will be receiving not only one, but two packs of DLC.  Whether or not these will be free or not is still unknown, but I for one can't wait for any new MBU content.

Now if only we could get the Roboblitz Multiplayer patch :)
