For those of you who thought this game was going to be like the Puzzle Quest games, I say you are only half right!
A very technical meeting between PopCap Games and Square Enix (at a pizza joint - is that right?) is where the idea for the game Gyromancer was born.
Needless to say, people will assume that Gyromancer is a Puzzle Quest clone. It is not.
Gyromancer is more like Bejeweled; how to twist and create multiple chains with power-ups and... it does sound like Puzzle Quest doesn't it? Hmmm...
Anyways, I would suggest you download the demo and give it a shot yourself and see what you think about the game. If you liked the Puzzle Quest games, but are looking for something different besides the story (warlords or space), then give this game a shot. I did, and now I own it!

I've always been a fan of Diner Dash. Maybe a handful of odd jobs in the past made me think that taking orders, clearing tables, and collecting money for a meaningless job was a lot faster and rewarding if I didn't have to leave my couch. And now I get to earn achievements.
Now before I proceed, I have to say that I would like to apologize for any comments I made about people working in the service business who actually like their job.
The game plays really well and progressively get harder. The real fun I found was playing the game with a friend or few. It can be a bit frustrating at times, but once you figure out what you are doing, you'll be moving up quickly. Unfortunately, the game is very repetitive and the small changes throughout the game only make it mildly enjoyable in single player... but more fun than actually doing it in real life as the customers don't talk back, they just get madder and madder and ultimately leave.
Continuing from there... before Diner Dash launched for the Xbox LIVE Arcade, I had a chance play the game at the Penny Arcade Expo this past September. So I knew what to expect. I even got my hands on a Diner Dash cooking apron. Which is now used in my kitchen... because what else would it be used for right?
Anyways... to make a long story short... both my wife and myself LOVE the game! Thanks Hudson Entertainment!

Also this week I picked up the downloadable content (DLC) for Peggle as I had already bought the game previously... but who didn't buy it? It's like crack for gamers!!
