Xbox 360 Fanboy has discovered via forum goers on 360 Arcadians that the official Alien Hominid Xbox.com page has gone live. This appearance doesn't say much about the release date in and of itself due to a TBA release date; however, when similiar situations have occurred in the past it has pointed to that game being the next release. I put my money on a high probability of this happening. What do you think? Will the game be released next week?
Update: Sorry, I forgot to mention this. The page used to be linked to from Xbox.com as an upcoming title but has since been removed. The page remains though.

I don't think that signifies "next release".
Seems like the Hold'em page was live for months before it came out.
But, I'd love to be wrong. It would be nice to see an arcade release that was created within in the last couple of decades once in awhile.

Just looking at the official page and it describes the game as...
"Full-blown console title: Alien Hominid is the first full-size console title on Xbox Live Arcade."
What exactly does that mean? Will this be the first game to break the 50Meg limit or what? If not, how does this differ from Cloning Cylde or the like. Either way, I'm looking forward to it.

They're probably just saying that because it was released on Xbox, Gamecube, and PS2 already. I doubt it means anything.
I'm not sure having a page up means much either. Worms has had a page up for at least a couple weeks now: http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/games/w/wormsxboxlivearcade/default.htm
Probably more meaningful is the fact that I could swear it was here a few days ago, but apparently it's been removed: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/livearcadexbox360/?WT.svl=nav

yeah it was listed but removed... i thought i posted that in the post, but i guess i didn't.
the thing with worms though was it was supposed to be out in january martyn said so. also worms is only on the british version. interesting enough street trace is also on the british one. recall street trace was supposed to be out in february... my guess is that a last minute certification issue popped up and it missed the "next 10 games" slot

If it's true, it's about TIME!!! The last couple of games have been terrible......am I wrong XBLA fans?? This would put the cherry on top of the ice cream, VF5, A GOOD Sonic game and SSX Blurr and Crack Down!!! What a week this would be if MS would deliver a AWESOME XBLA game like Alien Homid HD!!

You're not wrong there. It's been pretty poor for a while now. Hopefully Alien Hominid will see XBLA turn a corner in the right direction.
