Will you be purchasing this game this week or are you still burning the night oil on Zuma? Granted they aren't the same game but they are in the same family of puzzle games.

This one I'll be picking up first thing.
Although it means having to fight the wife for time on the 360 for anything else :)

I'll definitely try it out. Zuma was excellent. At first I thought this was gonna be just the same with a different setting, but after reading about the game features I'm interested again.
Not tomorrow though, cause then I'll get Guitar Hero 2 :D

I have never played Luxor 2, so I don't know if it will be worth the time or not.
I just want to say that it finally feels like XBLA is going to have a regular release schedule, which is good. With any luck, release dates are going to be announced further and further ahead as time goes on.

If I buy it, it depends how well the controller works with the game. I saw this at another site. It seems to confirm that MS is sitting on games ...
Thanks for your interest in our upcoming release, Catan for Xbox Live Arcade! We'll be updating the Catan site on Monday to reflect the new release timeframe. Because of scheduling with other Xbox Live Arcade titles, we're now targetting a release of Catan in May of this year.

I'm pretty sure they are doing the opposite of releasing dates in the future. They seem to now be keeping all cards close to their chest. A quick look at major nelson's comments or any gaming forum will tell you why. I hate when people ruin stuff for us.

It is true that with a limited slate of games to release, MS can end up angering fans by announcing a release date and then having to change it later.
However, as XBLA matures, MS will eventually have enough games that have passed certification that they could schedule exact relase dates months in advance. I don't know that they are there yet, but they may be close.
To reply to another comment... If MS is sitting on games, that's a good thing, so long as it helps them to have a regular, weekly release. Former XBLA cheif Greg Canessa once said he wanted to be able to release 2 games per week, one being a new IP, one being a classic, retro title. They can't do that until MS has a ton of games that they're "Sitting on."
