ESRB: Sonic and now Ecco

It's really a shame that the ESRB doesn't have an RSS feed. They are quickly becoming the de facto standard for XBLA leaks. Today, IGN UK brings us the word that Sonic the Hedgehog (I assume the classic version) has been submitted to the ESRB for a rating. This supports the "rumor" (when do they ever turn out to be false?) that classic Sonic was on its way to XBLA via a SEGA Vintage Collection.

The new bit though was the additional submission of Ecco the Dolphin. Looks like animal lovers of the Genesis age can begin their celebrations...and their waiting.

Good news to my ears.
I really don't care much about Ecco but, Sonic will be a nice addition to the arcade. And please someone bring Ristar and Dynamite Headdy too!!!

There's a streets of rage rumor. I have it somewhere in the archives of my old site. It was a very feint rumor though.

I would love to see the "strike" games, I forgot about those. EA it's like printing money... DO IT!

Just over a year ago, a "leaked" (probably faked) partnernet screen shot was found that had Road Rage on it! Unfortunately it was when I was new at the site and was stupid enough not to save a copy. There were a couple of hints as to why I still think it might not have been a fake...

It's out
Well, Streets of Rage is out on the Wii already so... if this news of Sonic and Ecco being released on XBLA is any indication of Sega publishing multiplatform then we might see Streets of Rage on XBLA. But please please, bring Street of Rage 2 only. The first one... not so good.
