Well, it was fun while it lasted. Imagining myself downloading and playing Katamari for under $15 made me giddy. But that dream has been crushed.

The GameSpot editors have corrected their Hands-on Preview of Beautiful Katamari to eliminate any possibility that the game would be coming to XBLA.

Oh well.

Damn. Them's the breaks, eh? now i gotta save me up some money for another retail game this christmas. I've already paid in full for Halo 3 and GTA 4, but those monies came from ebay sales of xbox live points cards.

Look for XBLA-Katamari announcements at Min-E3.

Apparently this kind of thing has happened with Gamespot in the past.

that's what i assumed was going down. Either MS paid a lot of money for that not to come out yet, or Namco didn't want that known yet. and GS messed up.
