Any aspiring developers out there?
GameSetWatch has posted the Indie Games Summit 2007 Small Arms Postmortem to Google Video for all to watch and enjoy.
"The creators of Xbox 360 Live Arcade stand-out title Small Arms, previous veterans of XBLA from their work with Fuzzee Fever on the original Xbox Live Arcade, talk about what went right and what wrong during the development of the frenetic multiplayer shooter, giving plenty of insight into developing indie games on console."

That was more interesting then I expected. I expected to get bored after a few minutes and close the video, but I watched the entire thing.
I had plenty of fun with Small Arms. I haven't played it in ages, but I probably put in something like 15+ hours in online matches alone. I kind of stopped playing when everyone realized that Unit 51 (well, his starting weapon anyways...) was ridiculously over-powered. Sure, anyone can pick that weapon up at random, but it doesn't show up enough to really make it fair.
That quibble aside, like I said, I had some good times with it.
