Sensible World of Soccer Dated

Codemasters recently held a Sensible World of Soccer community day where they invited members of the community to come and play this classic remake for the arcade. Fans who were lucky enough to participate at the event were given very nice gifts (TVs, 360s and games), but the real gifts for us are their write ups on the Codemaster forums. Don't worry, the best was save for last as a release date of August 29th and price of 800MSP was given. As things go with XBLA don't hold them to it.

August 2007 = Sometime in

August 2007 = Sometime in November in XBLA scheduling.

Seriously, I've never seen an XBLA title get such a specific date so far in advance. But if the game actually lives up to this date, maybe we can expect to actually know when games are coming out. Granted, sometime it was always worth the anticipation to figure out when a game could be released. A title coming out ofleft field was nice every now and then.

Perhaps I'm thinking into this too much?

Personally i would hazard a guess that they asked for this specific date in advance instead of say late July, since this title i heard was near enough complete a couple of months ago, this August date ties in nicely with the start of the new football (soccer) season in the UK, i know its a worldwide release but the original title sold easily the most in the UK i can only see they have gone for the most sales on this date...

Anyway cant bloody wait for this one, easily worth 800points!
