Ready To Chowdown S'More?: Eets Gets DLC
If you are anything like me, you are still trying to conquer the gargantuan number of puzzles included in Eets: Chowdown. However, for those of you that are superhuman and have finished all of those off, I have great news. Downloadable Eets content.
Klei Entertainment is still mum on any of the details (like when, how much, and what exactly would be included) but they did throw us this snazzy "sample background" for some of the upcoming levels. And considering it is tentatively called Eets: Chowdown Puzzle Pack, I think it is safe to assume we are getting new puzzles.

First Look: Voltage [Update]
Do you like futuristic racing titles like Wipeout? Did you share the disappointment with the Fatal Inertia demo? Well, I might just have a game for you.
Lexicon Entertainment has just announced Voltage, a (you got it) futuristic racing game. Of course, they also tout "real-time strategy elements" but how they work within the game is still a mystery. What isn't a mystery is how the game will look as TeamXbox has over forty screens at which to gawk in awe.
From my perspective, if this game is any good and comes out within the usual XBLA price range (i.e. $5-15) then Fatal Inertia is gonna have a tough sell on their hands.

[Update]: As noted by McLean78 the destined platform for this game may *not* be XBLA. I can't track down any corroborating evidence beyond TeamXbox's classification and I may have jumped too early. I'll let you know if I can uncover anything else.
Finally: Geon Details Emerge [Update]
After months of fruitless searching for anything (and trust me I did a crazy amount of searching) on a mysterious game called GEON coming from Eidos New Media (part of Eidos Interactive), we finally get some questions answered.

Marathon: Durandal Info Galore
As per usual, our keen-eyed rumor mongers were right. Marathon: Durandal is coming. As if the USK retraction could fool us. C'mon people, give us some credit. But that is just the tip of the iceberg. And now that the feline entity has escaped its papery cage we can finally talk details. Let's start with the basics and work our way though everything, shall we? Join me after the break for more words than a post should ever have.
E3 2007: Sierra Online Strikes First
Sierra Online, a huge supporter of XBLA (see: Assault Heroes, Carcassonne, 3D Ultra Minigolf Adventures), has given TeamXbox an exclusive advanced look at their E3 XBLA lineup. The coverage details three of Sierra Online's upcoming XBLA games (one we knew about, one we had a hunch about, and one out of the blue).
Maybe this strong XBLA push by Sierra Online has something to do with Ross Erickson's move from Microsoft to Sierra Online in February? Hmm, I wonder.
Who's excited (besides me, that is)?

XBLA Gets Mech'd: War World Confirmed [Update]
The visual bar for XBLA just got a whole lot higher! GameSpot has a hands-on preview of the Third Wave Games developed and Ubisoft published War World.
We had word around 6 months ago that this game would be coming and reported so. Back then, the worry was squeezing a game with a 149MB demo down into 50MB. Well, I imagine that Third Wave was jumping for joy when the limit was raised to 150MB.
The gameplay looks to be easy to learn with "Halo-like" controls and sports 10 highly unique and specialized battle 'bots which you can take through 100 arcade-mode levels of Mech-tastic shooting and destroying.
The game is slated to arrive sometime in "late summer" but let's hope it's sooner rather than later. As good as this game looks and with 8-player multiplayer confirmed (sorry, did I forget to mention that), anyone think it will join the ranks of 1200MSP games?
[Update]: Here's a link to the official site for the PC version, a link to the PC Demo (nice idea Blue_Falcon) and also here's a link for videos too. Enjoy!

First Look: Omega Five
Looks like Hudson has more than just Bomberman Live! up their collective sleeves. Xbox Gazette broke a story (in French) on the upcoming Natsume (you know, the Harvest Moon devs) developed, Hudson published Omega Five.
There are a bunch of images of the game at the site so check 'em out. It seems to be a side-scrolling 2D style shooter but with 3D elements. Machine translation of the page is pretty rough, but apparently the hook of the game will be enemies emerging from the 3D background and not just from the top and bottom of the screen like most side-scrolling shooters.
Based on the images available it looks like the game is close to completion but we never can tell. (I said the same thing about Mutant Storm Empire six months ago...) The article states it will likely cost 800 MS Points.
