I hope they consider doing this regularly. This must be working out for them if they're doing it again so soon. (it hasn't even been a month since the last one, right?)
Oh, and does this mean no new game(s) this week?

Dropping the 400 point games to 300 is irking me. If they were 200 points I would pick up Spades just to even my points up to a number divisable by 400. I have often considered picking up all the card games, but at 300 points it messes up the point division even more so I'll just be passing them again.

Frogger is the only decent title actually worth 300 points. Bankshot 2, at 900 points, is still overpriced and not worth it. Hardwood Spades came out just around the launch of the 360, it should have a permanent 200-250 range price. 300 still isn't even worth it.
Microsoft definitely needs to pick some better arcade titles here...
Microsoft needs to try harder. Price drops are smaller and games less appealing than last time. I'm not even in the least bit tempted by any of this.
It's possible they're testing the waters again to compare the results of this sale to the previous one. Hopefully this one does a lot worse, if that's the case.

Yeah you are definately right. The "sale" is a great new marketing "plot" for Microsoft, but they cant just expect us to buy any shitty game as long as it has SALE at the end of it..... come on.....
But none the less i love the whole idea about games on sale on arcade. More of that please MS. :-)
but please..... give us an arcade game on wednesday anyway.....

If that is the case, will this result in Microsoft actually continuing on with the occasional sale or stopping it? Whatever the case, Microsoft should make a sale, include some actual popular titles, and see the response from XBLA owners.
I really can't see anyone tempted by this unless they don't have Frogger and feel a little nostalgia coming on.
