Looks interesting, but it would seem to need another player to be fun as I can't imagine playing by controlling both with a single controller would more fun than frustrating. That means being able to find a Live game when you want to play it when no one else is around. Good concept but with so many XBLA games suffering from player retention I would most likley end up passing even if the game is great.

You ever play Cookies and Cream on the PS2 with a single controller? That is basicly Uberschizoid mode.

I know what you mean about the dropping multiplayer population of games on XBLA. However, that video may have pushed me into the "buy" camp. And ultimately as long as I can talk a friend or two into buying it and playing it with me I can get my money's worth. But with the addition of Uberschizoid, at least I can play without needed someone else if I'm desperate. And it seems like a totally insane challenge which I like...sometimes. (^_^)

Also, I love that they finally showed the death animation in that new video. The particle effects and size of the explosion are awesome. Deaths should always be epic in games like this and I was excited when I saw it! LOL. I guess I'm a masochist.

Awesome! I was hoping they would include a dual-stick mode like that.

Also, they were originally talking about a solo mode with an AI-controlled partner. I would imagine that's the standard single-player game mode unless the've dropped that feature.

I think this game will be so much funnier with a mate next to me in the couch than playing it with a friend in a totally different location. And the solo experience could also bring a whole new level to this game. I'm truly looking forward to this one.

Would be cool though if they also applied a four-player mode, with two additional colors.
