The latest from the Hardwood series creators will be available on the Arcade next week. This comes as a surprise considering, usually Gamerscore Blog has us wait until Monday(ish) for information on the release. Soltrio Solitaire will make use of tons of different variants of solitaire in addition to multiplayer variants. Considering the last card game that was released was Uno, this is a long overdue genre addition. Solitaire Games of Every Imaginable Type Arrive on Xbox LIVE Arcade This Wednesday This Wednesday, get ready for solitaire mania on Xbox LIVE Arcade! “Soltrio Solitaire” from Silver Creek Entertainment offers players a chance to shuffle through a collection of 18 compelling solitaire games. Additionally, a brand new Voyage Adventure mode provides a new twist on classic solitaire gameplay: in this mode, players travel around a map completing different solitaire games in order to unlock custom card designs. Co-op and competitive two-player game modes further enhance the “Soltrio Solitaire” experience. “Soltrio Solitaire” will be available worldwide – with the exception of Korea – for 800 Microsoft Points on Wednesday, May 16th, and is rated E for Everyone. - In two-player mode, two games take place at the same time, and both players share the same foundation piles, prompting a fight over the piles in the race to win the game

They probably don't want to release their big hitters on the day the Halo 3 beta launches. Solitaire is about as far from Halo as you can get.
Sorta like how ESPN shows Jump-Roping finals during the Super Bowl.

Wait, TWO Hardwood games versus EIGHTEEN Solitaire games... which one are you saying is the better deal?
People are acting like this is $10 for the single basic solitaire game that you get free. But this includes multiplayer games with camera support etc.
