Sierra Online, a huge supporter of XBLA (see: Assault Heroes, Carcassonne, 3D Ultra Minigolf Adventures), has given TeamXbox an exclusive advanced look at their E3 XBLA lineup. The coverage details three of Sierra Online's upcoming XBLA games (one we knew about, one we had a hunch about, and one out of the blue).
Maybe this strong XBLA push by Sierra Online has something to do with Ross Erickson's move from Microsoft to Sierra Online in February? Hmm, I wonder.
Who's excited (besides me, that is)?

Blurbs about each of the games and links to the screenshot galleries after the break.
Known: Battlestar Galactica
The screenshots at TeamXbox might be squished but it still looks enticing. The game will allow you to control 8 different ships (4 Cylon/4 Human) through both a single-player campaign and 8-player online multiplayer (which includes 3 modes: Firefire, Skirmish, and Domination). No word on local multiplayer. It looks like this game will go head to head with Wing Commander: Arena (although Arena will have 16-player online multiplayer). No details on the release window or price.
Hunch: Switchball
This game is a physics driven marble puzzler built on the Aegia PhysX engine. As you puzzle your way through the level the marble can be mutated into four different types such as Airball (feather-light) or the Powerball (electrically charged). Sign me up. Check our previous coverage for videos, screenshots, and a link to the PC Demo. TeamXbox has more screens here. No details on the release window or price.
Out of the Blue: Commanders: Attack!
Looks like NinjaBee's Band of Bugs won't be the only turn-based tactics game on the XBLA playground for long. With a slick 30s art deco style and tons of multiplayer options (up to 4 players locally or online), this game will likely steal many hours of my life. There are 15 unit types to command against AI opponents in the 15 mission single-player campaign. TeamXbox has screens here. Release is slated for "Fall" for both XBLA and Windows PC but no price announcement.

"Commanders: Attack!" is as bad a title as Assault Heroes, but the game looks awesome. If it's as good as Band of Bugs, that's great, but with cities and roads and stuff, it looks like it should offer something different. I like the choice of art style, too. Pretty unique.
Switchball still looks great.
Not sure about Battlestar Galactica, but I usually like top-down shooters, so why not.

Switchball has most of my interest. However, I'm assuming there's no multiplayer like Marble Blast Ultra as there's no mention of it. Which is a pity cause MBU multiplayer is cool.
